Rhi is on a mission as a communicator to help everyday people understand and engage with complex concepts in an approachable way. It’s important to her that information about health and wellness be honest, relatable, and straightforward to ensure there aren’t unnecessary barriers to health literacy. Growing up biracial in rural Ohio, Rhi has existed at the intersection of different perspectives and is passionate about facilitating understanding across cultural backgrounds.

Waco Holve (he/him)
DATA SCIENTIST
A solution-oriented data scientist with heart, Waco has been examining solutions through math, algorithms and systems in the fintech and healthcare fields for some time. When it comes to Spora’s vision and mandate, Waco realizes his privilege as a white person and aims to do what he can to help foster a space of health equity that translates into a seamless, data-based and intuitive experience for those wanting to improve their health–and ultimately their lives. -

Elise Omaits (she/her)
POPULATION HEALTH LEAD
Elise obtained her Masters of Public Health from Columbia University concentrating on Population and Family Health. She has spent her career working in health equity, first in public policy and now focusing on using applied research to change systems and behavior. Elise is Spora Health’s Population Health Lead and has used her experience to design Spora Institute.

Dr. Louis Capponi, MD (he/him)
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Capponi is the Chief Medical Officer at Spora Health and believes deeply that we can change the status quo and give patients the healthcare they deserve. Healthcare that is truly equitable and personal. Dr. Capponi has spent a career advocating for improved care for diverse populations of patients, and working to ensure that organizations render preventive care rather than waiting for people to come in for sick visits. He is the former Chief Medical Information Officer at the Cleveland Clinic where he helped to establish their first teledermatology program and integrate telemedicine services.

Shawhin Mosadeghzad (he/him)
PRODUCT MANAGER
Shawhin is the product manager (software) at Spora Health. For better or worse, his curiosity has led the direction of his career. Before joining the healthcare sector, he spent time in the crypto, office management, on-demand delivery, and consumer packaged goods industries. He's one of the handful in his family that didn't become a doctor, thanks to his MCAT score. Even after all these years, it's still too soon to talk to his parents about it.
